Terms of Service

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

Technified is run by a private individual based in Germany (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at support@technified.xyz. “You” means anyone who uses Technified.

These terms cover the website, the dashboard, the Technified Discord bot, the Roblox integration and the Technified API, together “Technified”.

2. In short

• Technified is free. You need to be at least 13 and allowed to use Discord, and Roblox where you use it.
• If you run a server with Technified, you decide how it is used there, and you are responsible for those decisions.
• Do not use Technified to break the law, harass people, or attack or overload it.
• What you put into Technified stays yours. We only use it to run Technified for you.
• If something on Technified is illegal, report it to support@technified.xyz. A person looks at every report.
• You can stop at any time and delete your account yourself.
• These points are a summary. The sections below are what counts.

3. What Technified is

Technified helps communities run a Discord server together with their Roblox games: it links Discord and Roblox accounts, gives roles, moderates on both platforms, handles tickets, applications and appeals, manages staff, and controls live game servers. What a server uses is up to its team.

Technified is an independent project. It is not made, endorsed or sponsored by Discord Inc. or Roblox Corporation. Discord and Roblox are trademarks of their owners. Because Technified works through Discord and Roblox, it depends on them: when they change or limit what they offer, Technified may have to change too.

4. Who may use Technified

You may use Technified if:

• you are at least 13 years old. If the law of your country requires a parent's or guardian's consent for you to use online services, you have it;
• you are allowed to use Discord, and Roblox where you use it, and you follow their terms and rules;
• you, your account or your server have not been blocked from Technified.

If you use Technified on behalf of a group, team or organization, you confirm that you may agree to these terms for it.

5. Your account

You sign in with your Discord account, and may link one Roblox account to it. You are responsible for what happens through your account, so keep your Discord and Roblox accounts secure. Tell us at support@technified.xyz if you think someone else is using your account. Only link a Roblox account that is yours.

6. Running Technified in your server

When you add Technified to a server, or manage one as staff, you decide how Technified is used there. You are responsible for those decisions, and you agree to:

• moderate fairly and lawfully, and use punishments, notes and strikes only for the purpose of running your community;
• tell your members, for example in your server's rules, that your server uses Technified and what for, and point them to the Privacy Policy;
• collect only what you need in applications, appeals and tickets, and not ask for sensitive data such as health information or passwords;
• attach evidence and upload files only if you are allowed to, and only where they are needed;
• not hinder anyone in exercising their data protection rights, which Technified lets every member exercise themselves;
• give staff permissions with care. What your staff do through Technified is done in the name of your server;
• follow the Discord and Roblox rules that apply to your server and games.

Servers can be grouped into organizations that share moderation, staff roles and forms. Only join an organization you trust: its decisions, such as a ban with organization reach, apply in your server too.

7. Keys, games and the API

To connect a game or an automation, you create keys in the dashboard, and you may store credentials such as a Roblox API key that lets Technified act in your Roblox group. Keep keys secret and replace a key that may have leaked. Only store a credential you are entitled to use for this purpose. You are responsible for what is done with your keys.

Every kind of request has a limit. Do not try to get around it, for example with several keys or accounts. Technified provides official client libraries; if you build your own client, it has to behave as the documentation describes.

8. What is not allowed

You may not use Technified to:

• break the law, or store or spread illegal content;
• harass, threaten, dox or discriminate against anyone, or punish people for reasons that have nothing to do with your community;
• exploit or endanger children in any way;
• collect data about people beyond what running your community needs, or sell or pass on data from Technified;
• send spam, or mass messages and announcements nobody asked for;
• spread malware, or upload files meant to cause harm;
• attack, overload, probe or disrupt Technified, get around its security, its limits or a block, access data that is not meant for you, or copy Technified's data by automated means;
• pretend to be someone else, or to be Technified, Discord or Roblox;
• break the terms or rules of Discord or Roblox.

If you find a security vulnerability, please tell us at support@technified.xyz and give us a chance to fix it before you tell anyone else.

9. Your content

“Content” is anything you put into Technified: forms and their answers, ticket panels, messages, notes, evidence, pictures and other files. It remains yours. You allow us to store, process, show and send it as far as needed to run Technified for you, for example to show it to your server's staff, post it to Discord, or include it in a transcript. This permission ends when the content is deleted, except for copies we must keep by law or for the reasons in the Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for your content and confirm that you have the rights to it. We do not check content before it is stored, but we act on reports, see section 10.

10. Reports and our decisions

Reporting content. If you believe that content on Technified is illegal, for example on a server's public page or in an uploaded file, report it to support@technified.xyz. Please include where it is (a link, server or ID), why you believe it is illegal, your name and email address (unless the report concerns child sexual abuse material), and a statement that your report is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge. We confirm that we received it, and we tell you what we decided.

How we decide. Reports and suspected violations of these terms are reviewed by a person, not decided by a machine. We act carefully, objectively and in proportion to what happened.

What we can do. Depending on how serious a violation is, we can remove or disable content, take down a server's public page, revoke keys, suspend or end the use of Technified for an account, a Roblox account or a whole server, or block them from Technified. In urgent cases, such as illegal content or an attack, we act immediately. Where possible we warn first.

Our reasons. When we restrict you or your content, we tell you what we did, why, on which facts and on which rule or law it is based, unless the law forbids it or we cannot reach you.

Disagreeing. If you disagree with one of our decisions, write to support@technified.xyz within six months and tell us why. A person who did not make the original decision, where possible, looks at it again, and we tell you the result. You can also go to court at any time.

Decisions that a server's staff make within their server, such as banning a member, are theirs and not ours. Contact that server's team about them. We step in only if Technified is being misused in breach of these terms.

11. Points of contact

Our single point of contact for users, and for authorities of the EU member states, the European Commission and the European Board for Digital Services under Articles 11 and 12 of the Digital Services Act, is support@technified.xyz. You can write to us in English or German.

12. Price, plans and limits

Technified is free of charge. Plans may raise the limits of an organization, such as the number of forms or the space for files; the limits that apply are shown in the dashboard. If we ever offer paid plans, they will have their own terms that you agree to before you pay. Nobody will be charged without that.

13. Availability and changes to Technified

We work to keep Technified running, but because it is free, we cannot promise that it is always available or free of errors. Maintenance, outages at Cloudflare, Discord or Roblox, or attacks can interrupt it.

Technified keeps developing. We may add, change or remove features if there is a good reason, for example a change at Discord or Roblox, a security problem, a change in the law, or because a feature is little used. We take your interests into account and announce significant changes in the dashboard in advance, where possible. Technified is not a backup service: keep copies of what matters to you. You can download your data at any time.

14. Liability

We are liable without limitation for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, under the German Product Liability Act, and where we have given a guarantee.

For slight negligence, we are liable only if we breach an obligation that is essential for Technified to work and on which you may regularly rely (a cardinal obligation), and then only for damage that is typical and foreseeable for this kind of service. Otherwise we are not liable for slight negligence.

These limits also apply to people who work for us or on our behalf.

15. Ending

You can stop using Technified at any time: remove the bot from your server, and delete your account under Account, Privacy.

We can end your use of Technified with four weeks' notice, for example if we stop offering it. We can end or suspend it immediately for good cause, especially for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, see section 10.

What happens to data afterwards is explained in the Privacy Policy. Everything a server held is deleted 90 days after the bot is removed from it; until then, adding the bot again brings it back.

16. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms for a good reason, such as a change in the law, new features, or Discord or Roblox changing their rules, as long as the change is reasonable for you. We tell you about a change at least 30 days before it applies, in the dashboard. If you do not want to accept it, you can end your use of Technified before then. Changes that affect the core of our agreement need your express agreement.

17. Law and final provisions

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live.

We are neither obliged nor willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

If a provision of these terms is invalid, the rest remain valid. These terms are written in English. If we provide a translation, the English version is the one that counts.
