When something does not work

Most problems have a simple cause. Find yours below.

The bot does not answer, or a command is missing

• Open Settings → Discord commands. If it says Discord is behind, press Publish. Discord can take a moment to show changes.
• Check that the command is switched on, and that its audience includes you.
• If a staff member does not see a staff command like /ban, see the tip at the end of Discord commands.

Members do not get their roles

• In Discord, the Technified role must be above every role it hands out. Drag it higher under Server Settings → Roles.
• Ask the member to use /update.
• Under Role sync → Check a member, see exactly what they would get and why.

Verification does not finish

• The link from /verify only works for a few minutes and only once. Use /verify again for a new one.
• Sign in on Roblox with the account you want to link, then allow Technified to see the profile.

Somebody did not get a message from the bot

Discord only delivers a direct message if the person shares a server with the bot and allows messages from server members (User Settings → Privacy). The punishment or decision still counts; the dashboard shows when a message could not be delivered.

Bans do not work in my game

• Check that your servers show up under Game servers. If not, install again from Connection → Game keys → Game Integration, and publish the place.
• Only servers started after you published have the integration. Restart old servers.
• If you revoked the game key, the game cannot reach Technified any more. Make a new one with Game Integration.

The welcome greeting is not posted

• Check that a Channel is set under Settings → Welcome, and that the bot may write there.
• If the Welcome tab shows a yellow note, the bot cannot hear joins yet. Contact support.

I lifted a ban, but the person is still banned in Discord

The dashboard warns you when Discord refused to lift it, for example because the bot lost its permissions. Lift it by hand in Discord under Server Settings → Bans, or use /unban once the bot has its permissions back.
